I propose to make an online platform that collects parking information in cities in order to provide users with the parking location, price and availability of different parking lots. Especially in populated countries like China, many public areas are blocked by cars either legally or illegally. While driving in Chengdu, I feel there’s almost too many curbside parking space and people also park on streets where the police go less frequently. To free occupied public space and make parking experience more convenient are my main goals, because cars not only make the city look more crowed and chaotic, but also increase the danger of pedestrians and other cars running into each other in narrow streets.
